We all have beautiful stories and it is my goal to help you tell yours. It is my mission as a photographer to help people tell their stories. I love stories – they define who we are. The joy of falling in love, the birth of a child, are examples of beautiful stories that become a part of us. It is at times impossible to express the extent to which these beautiful moments can impact our lives. It is my goal to help capture the beauty of your story through my photography. A photo can be a reminder of that beautiful moment(s) and it can help us tell that story to others we love for years to come.

I hear time and again, “Luann, that picture captures the essence of that person perfectly.” And this brings me so much joy and gratitude, to know that I can be a part of making something beautiful. Technical quality is an important factor in a good photo. But the most important aspect of a photo is the person or people in the picture. I’m not looking to reproduce the same cookie-cutter shots time after time. I am looking to capture the beauty of a single moment, the beauty of a single person. And we are all beautiful in different ways, each unique expressions of beauty. That is what I want to capture. And hopefully my photography is as unique as the people who are a part of it.
